The album generated an additional 87,000 equivalent album units during the latest tracking week, benefiting from the Encore release, which arrived on September 24 with four new tracks, including Patient Zero, which topped the Billboard Hot 100.
Originally released in October 2025, The Life of a Showgirl made an extraordinary debut, selling 2.7 million copies in its opening week. The subsequent Encore edition delivered another strong performance, collecting 173,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
The continued success of the project underscores Swift’s enduring commercial appeal, with the singer maintaining a strong presence across both the albums and singles charts.
Her latest Hot 100 achievement came through Patient Zero, which remained at No. 1 for a second consecutive week last Monday. The feat brought Swift’s cumulative time atop the singles chart to 51 weeks, placing her fifth in the all-time ranking for weeks spent at No. 1.
She trails Mariah Carey, who leads with 101 weeks, followed by Rihanna with 60, the Beatles with 59 and Drake with 58.
Beyond her chart success, Swift has made several appearances at private events in recent months, including performances at the Grammy Museum and a Ross House For Your Consideration showcase.
On Saturday night, she delivered her first full-band performance since the Eras Tour at the Academy Museum’s sixth annual gala. Her set included songs such as I Knew It, I Knew You, The Fate of Ophelia, Blank Space and Love Story.
Greta Van Fleet Secures Fourth Top 10 Entry
Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, rock band Greta Van Fleet secured its fourth top-10 entry as its latest album, Palace for the People, debuted at No. 9.
Olivia Rodrigo claimed the runner-up position with You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, while Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem held the No. 3 spot.
Ella Langley’s Dandelion ranked fourth, followed by Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide at No. 5.
Drake occupied the sixth position with Habibti, while Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving climbed to No. 7. Kahan’s earlier release, Stick Season, rose to No. 8, and Drake’s Iceman completed the top 10.
The latest chart reflects a competitive week for established and emerging acts, with Swift continuing to lead the albums ranking while Rodrigo, Wallen, Drake and Kahan maintain multiple points of representation.
Swift’s sustained chart performance, bolstered by the expanded edition of The Life of a Showgirl, further demonstrates the commercial impact of strategically timed releases and continued engagement with her global fan base.
