    Farouk Lawan Remanded In Kuje Prison



    An Abuja High Court has remanded the Chairman of House of Representatives Adhoc Committee for the probe of the oil subsidy, Hon Farouk Lawan, in Prison.
    The Committee’s Secretary, Hon Boniface Emenalo, was told to cool off at the Kuje Prison in Abuja with Lawan till February 8.
    The two lawmakers were arraigned on Friday for allegedly soliciting for and obtaining the sum of $620,000 from oil and gas tycoon, Femi Otedola, who is the chairman of  Zenon Oil.

    They, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
