Multichoice Nigeria, the Pay TV giant unveiled its colourful 2oth anniversary logo at an event held in Lagos on Friday August 2, 2013.

The eye-catching anniversary logo was designed by Kanso Ogbolu, the winner of the special logo competition MultiChoice had initiated in June to kick start activities to mark 20th anniversary celebration.

Present at intimate cocktail/unveiling event were: Chairman Senate Committee on information, Media and Public Affairs, Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe; Managing Director Multichoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe; Managing Director First city monument Bank (FCMB), Mr. Ladi Balogun;

Managing Director Zenith Bank, Mr. Godwin Emefiele, members of the press and other guests.

Addressing the gathering, John Ugbe stated that in the last 20years, the company had not relented in its efforts at exporting the country's innovation globally.

"When we introduced mobile digital TV in Nigeria, It was the first in Africa. Our story in these 20years of operation has not just been about bringing international content to Nigeria, rather we have also been taking Nigeria's innovation to the rest of the world.

This event is to unveil the 20th anniversary logo and honour all those who have been part of our success story" he added.

Beating 16,999 other entries to clinch the prize, 27years-old Kanso Ogbolu's clever twirl of a celebratory ribbon to shape '20' incorporates the Multichoice logo, colours, Pan-African roots and Nigeria's rich green-white-green national colurs, while also reflecting the pay Tv company's commitment to family entertainment.
