Fidelity Stars Win Bankers Games

Fidelity Bank completed a remarkable success in the 2015 Nigeria Bankers Games winning the football event gold as well as emerging the overall best in all competitions. Coming from losing their opening group game in football to the losing finalists, First Bank, the champions turned out stronger in subsequent games.
The won all save for a draw against the former defending champions, UBA on their way to an outstanding performance.

In a show of pure class, Fidelity were run away leaders on the medals table with 10 gold medals, two silver and four bronze with First Bank in second place with just three gold medals, two silver and three bronze. UBA with two gold and silver apiece finished third.
The final day began with a novelty match between the Corporate Nigeria Games Hall of Fame team against the Nigeria Armed Forces Resettlement Centre side which ended 1-0 in favour of the Hall of Famers, captained by Funlola Oni of Standard Chartered Bank.
