One of Nollywood’s prominent figures, Kanayo O.Kanayo, has announced his intention to run for the House of Representatives in 2019. The veteran actor, who is known for having kick-started his political career some years back, made the announcement of seeking elective office via his Instagram account. “Hello Friends, good evening.

History has been made today as I declared my intention to run for the House of Representatives, Ahiazu/ Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency, Imo State under the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA. Unlike many entertainers who usually leave people in suspense regarding the post they are vying for as well as the political platform, Kanayo O. Kanayo made it all known in his message. Believed to have joined the Peoples Democratic Party at some point in the life of the last administration, the surprising part is that he is running on the platform of All Progressive Grand Alliance this time.
