Plans are on to establish three new facilities at the Sokoto State University, Governor Aminu Tambuwal has disclosed.
They include Faculties of Medicine, Engineering as well as Information and Communications Technology.
He stated this at the inauguration of new executive members of the Federated Organization of Sokoto state Students Association, FOSOSSA.
The move, he said, was to improve the institution.
The governor reiterated his administration commitment towards tackling challenges of infrastructure at the state-owned tertiary institutions.
He acknowledged the potentials of youths and congratulated them for the Not Too Young to Run Bill which was signed into law recently.
Tambuwal disclosed that the state government would soon appoint a Special Adviser on Students' Matters.
