A new addition to Nigeria’s growing cultural calendar is set to redefine the end-of-year experience in Lagos as Springbox Africa announces the launch of Music City Central, a two-day festival scheduled for December 19 and 20, 2025. The event will take place at Orange Island, which will be transformed into a dynamic hub celebrating music, nightlife, fashion, and contemporary African creativity.

Conceived as more than a traditional music concert, Music City Central Fest is designed to deliver a fully immersive, multi-sensory experience inspired by the pulse of Lagos nightlife. The festival will showcase a diverse soundscape, drawing from Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, Highlife, Afro-Tech, and cutting-edge electronic music, reflecting both local influence and global trends.

Festival-goers can expect carefully curated, genre-driven stages that create distinct atmospheres across the venue. Beyond music, the event will feature culinary showcases highlighting contemporary food culture, alongside innovative art and cultural installations that explore modern African expression through design, technology, and storytelling.

With an anticipated attendance of over 8,000 people across two days, Music City Central positions itself as a culture-defining platform that brings together music lovers, creatives, and trendsetters. By blending sound, style, and shared experience, Springbox Africa aims to establish the festival as a landmark destination for celebrating Africa’s evolving creative identity at the close of the year.
