Close friends and family will gather at the Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg on Wednesday, February 16, to celebrate the life of late media personality and actress Kuli Roberts.

Kuli died last week, after apparently suffering a seizure on the set of a shoot in Kyalami north of Johannesburg.

Her family confirmed that an intimate memorial service will be held this week to remember her.

Roberts was popular on television and radio and was known for her no-holds-barred approach towards wrongdoings in the entertainment industry. She was an activist for people living with albinism.

After a hiatus from the spotlight to focus on other ventures, Kuli made a comeback in 2016 as a co-host on “Trending SA”.

She also starred alongside Connie Ferguson in “The Queen” and more recently in the local Netflix movie “Angeliena”.

Both the Roberts and the Mboya family are deeply thankful for the immense support from across the nation over the past few days. They have planned a small intimate gathering for her send off.

Invited close friends and media will gather for a special Memorial in Celebration of the life of Nomakula ‘Kuli’ Roberts this Wednesday. The memorial will also be live-streamed.
