Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer Reveals New Black Panther's Identity
Marvel’s “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” got another exciting trailer Monday morning ahead of its Nov. 11 release date.
Marvel has released a new trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda
Forever, and it gives us a look at the suits for both the new Black Panther and
Ironheart.
The new trailer shows is a more action-packed look at the
movie than the emotive first reveal. Most notably, we get a look at the new
suit for a female Black Panther (who we believe we know the identity of after a
toy leak).
The suit clearly inherits T'Challa's kinetic force
absorption, but is more ornate, with gold armour accents across the length of
the suit.
We also get multiple, brief looks at the first suit for new MCU hero Ironheart (Dominique Thorne, playing Riri Williams), who debuts in this movie before getting her own Disney+ series. The suit, which looks a little heftier than Iron Man's most familiar outfits, is seen in a car chase, taking off from ground level (seemingly to reach a plane above it), and in a speedy ascent as Riri screams, "Let's go!" We also see a shot from inside the suit, showing that Riri will have similar inside-the-helmet close-ups to Tony Stark throughout his movies.
There's a lot more besides, including multiple fight scenes featuring members of the Dora Milaje, a lot of underwater action from Namor and his Talocan troops, and shots that seem to be from T'Challa's funeral.
We also saw a new new poster for the movie revealed, giving
another look at the new suit, and the major players in the story:

According to a recent theater listing, the upcoming Marvel
movie clocks in at 2 hours 41 minutes – that makes it the longest Phase 4 movie
as well as the longest non-Avengers film in the entire MCU. It will introduce a
new mutant to the MCU, and focus in part on the death of T'Challa after Chadwick
Boseman's tragic passing.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters
on November 11, 2022. For more, check out why Namor is a villain in the film
