    Nile Conference Recap - April 30

    Five players scored in double digits and Angola’s Petro de Luanda beat South Africa’s Cape Town Tigers 87-48.

    Will Perry scored 41 points and dished out seven assists and Mozambique’s CFV Beira defeated Guinea’s S.L.A.C 109-97 in their third game of the competition. Perry’s 41 points tied for the most points scored in a single game in the BAL. Najeal Young added 26 points and five rebounds for Mozambique’s champion who will face the Cape Town Tigers on May 3.

    Meanwhile, S.L.A.C was led by UC Iroegbu (Nigeria) who finished with 29 points, seven rebounds and five assists. S.L.A.C’s next game is this afternoon when they face Uganda’s City Oilers.
     
    Petro de Luanda – Cape Town Tigers 87-48
    Five players scored in double digits and Angola’s Petro de Luanda beat South Africa’s Cape Town Tigers 87-48. Petro led from the opening minutes with Childe Dundao, Lukeny Goncalves, Jone Pedro, Gofate Buiamba, Damian Hollis leading the charge. The Tigers were led by former NBA player Josh Hall (14 points) and Zaire Wade (nine points).  
     
    Petro will play S.L.A.C on May 3, while the Tigers will take on Egypt’s Al Ahly this evening.
