Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, also known as Tems, thrilled the crowd on Sunday night during her performance at the 2024 Coachella.
The music festival which kicked off on April 12, will run
until its closing night on April 21.
On Sunday night, the songstress delivered an electrifying
performance at the iconic Empire Polo Grounds in California.
The crowd roared as she brought Grammy-winning artistes
Wizkid and Justin Bieber onstage for a surprise rendition of their global
smash, ‘Essence’.
Tems also kept the momentum going by teasing a new song from
her highly anticipated album.
Although details about the album remain under wraps, the
reception to her new track indicates it will be a standout release.
Born Temilade Openiyi, Tems gained global recognition in
2020, courtesy of her collaboration with Wizkid on the song ‘Essence’.
She has since established a name for herself in the Nigerian
music industry, earning several awards and accolades.
In March, the singer was honoured with a ‘Breakthrough
Award’ at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards.
In February 2023, the songstress won her first-ever Grammy
award.
She bagged the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for

She recently revealed that she is “1000 percent” certain
