Toyota by CFAO, the authorized distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nigeria, has officially launched the All-New 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) in the Nigerian market.

The unveiling ceremony, graced by prominent stakeholders from the public and private sectors, was held on Friday, July 19, at the prestigious Toyota by CFAO showroom located on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado has consistently demonstrated exceptional performance both on and off-road, contributing to its status as one of Toyota’s most successful models globally. With over 11.3 million units sold across more than 170 countries, the Land Cruiser Prado has garnered widespread recognition and acclaim.

In his opening remarks, the Managing Director of CFAO Mobility Nigeria, Mr. Denis Martin, stated that the Land Cruiser Prado symbolizes more than just a vehicle; it embodies Toyota’s enduring heritage and their vision for the future. While honoring their roots, they are simultaneously pushing boundaries, mirroring the Prado’s versatility in both urban environments and challenging terrains.

Martin further stated, “Today, we commemorate a significant milestone—the first anniversary of Toyota by CFAO. The brand's partner, Mai Atafo, was present to elaborate on the vehicle’s specifications, capturing the attention of the esteemed guests and becoming the focal point of the event.

The Toyota Land Cruiser, now available at all Toyota by CFAO outlets in Nigeria, boasts several notable features. The Electric Power System (EPS), a first for the Land Cruiser family, enhances maneuverability. Additionally, the new Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism anti-roll bar system significantly improves off-road capabilities while ensuring exceptional comfort.
