Chike, the Nigerian music sensation whose real name is Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka, has recently unveiled his third studio album titled "Son of Chike."

The talented singer-songwriter took to his social media accounts last Friday to share the news of the album's release.

This 12-track album comes after the well-received debut album "Boo of the Booless" (2020) and his second body of work "The Brother's Keeper" (2022).

In reference to the album, Chike characterized the project as a “commemoration of his heritage and identity.”

Additionally, he mentioned that the collection of work contributes to the legacy of music and culture that has been passed down through generations.

“I am Osebuka, the son of my father, and this album symbolizes and celebrates my heritage and identity as a #SonOfChike and my new musical offspring joining the ranks of those that came before,” he wrote.

The album contains songs like ‘Unto You’, ‘Lifetime Love’, ‘Apple’, ‘Mma’, ‘Someone’, ‘Your Loss’, ‘Not Your Daddy’, ‘One Day’, ‘Balance Am’, and ‘Man Not God’.

It also incorporates previous releases such as ‘Ego Oyibo’ and the popular track ‘Egwu’, which features the late Nigerian singer Mohbad.

The musician worked with other prominent artists on the album, such as Olamide, Qing Madi, and Ladipoe.

Chike embarked on his musical journey in 2015 when he took part in Project Fame. Subsequently, he achieved the position of first runner-up on The Voice of Nigeria in 2016. At present, he is under contract with Brothers Records.

Chike commenced his acting career by making his debut as Mayowa Badmus on the Africa Magic Showcase telenovela Battleground. He also appeared in the production Gang of Lagos, portraying the character Ify.
