A peaceful demonstration occurred at the University of Ibadan in response to the recent increase in tuition fees and the implementation of power rationing measures.

The students of the University of Ibadan (UI) have organized a peaceful demonstration to express their concerns regarding the administration’s choices on electricity supply and fee increases.

On Wednesday, students continued their peaceful demonstration, which had begun late on Tuesday. They held placards at the main entrance of the university to express their concerns.

The demonstrators erected a barricade at the primary entrance of the Institution, effectively impeding the movement of vehicles into the University premises.

Another group of students gathered at Trenchard Hall to express their concerns through peaceful protest.
