Nigerian actress and model Annie Macaulay has changed her Instagram name back to Idibia, the surname of her estranged husband, music icon 2Face Idibia.
The move, which was made on Thursday, comes amid the ongoing marital turbulence between 2Face and his new wife, Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. The timing has sparked curiosity among fans, though Annie has not offered any public explanation for the change.
The development follows a series of dramatic incidents involving 2Face. Earlier, a video surfaced showing the singer being arrested and handcuffed in London after a heated altercation with Natasha. Shortly afterward, another confrontation occurred during an Instagram Live session hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, where 2Face was reportedly assaulted. During the livestream, he was heard asking Natasha, “What is your problem?” just moments before she allegedly grabbed his phone, causing the broadcast to end abruptly.
Annie had previously reverted to her maiden name in March 2025, weeks after 2Face publicly announced their separation and revealed his relationship with Osawaru. Her latest action has reignited public interest in the ongoing saga, as fans continue to follow every development in the high-profile dispute.
