Heiress and Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, known professionally as DJ Cuppy, has expressed admiration for the four Nigerian Afrobeats artists who are gaining international recognition.

Asake, Rema, Darkoo, Shallipopi, and other performers delighted attendees on various dates of the 2024 Wireless Festival held in London.

DJ Cuppy, who also performed as a disc jockey at the festival, utilized social media to convey her congratulations and express her admiration for the exceptional performances delivered by Rema, Asake, Ruger, and Shallipopi.

On her X handle, she wrote: “I have to hail all my brothers o! Congrats to @asakemusik, @heisrema, @shallipopi_, and @rugerofficial for their stellar performances at #WirelessFestival.

Recently, Ayra Starr and Burna Boy achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first African artists to grace the main stage of Glastonbury, the United Kingdom’s most renowned music festival.

During their performance at Glastonbury, the British band Coldplay collaborated with the renowned Nigerian Afrobeat musician Femi Kuti.
