Vista Group Holding has successfully finalized its acquisition of a complete 100 percent stake in Banco Société Générale Moçambique (BSGM), thereby enhancing the group's footprint in Africa. Following the acquisition, BSGM, which operates eight branches, will be rebranded as Vista Bank Moçambique.

Simon Tiemtore, Chairman of Vista Group Holding, remarked that this acquisition marks a significant milestone in the journey of Vista Bank Group towards its ambition of evolving into a premier pan-African financial services entity, with aspirations to operate in 25 nations by 2026.

Tiemtore emphasized that this new acquisition bolsters the group's capacity to foster economic growth and promote financial inclusion across Africa.

With this development, the group now has a presence in five countries: Burkina Faso, The Gambia, Republic of Guinea (Conakry), Mozambique, and Sierra Leone.

He further highlighted that Vista Group, under the ownership of Lilium Group LLC, provides a comprehensive array of innovative banking products, solutions, and services that are accessible to a diverse clientele, including individuals, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), corporations, and government entities, thereby contributing to financial inclusion, economic development, and prosperity in its operational regions.
