The mother of two took to social media to share her journey,
providing motivation to other entrepreneurs encountering comparable obstacles.
In her post, Mercy expressed that managing a business amid
the prevailing economic conditions, characterized by inflation and financial
uncertainty, has significantly tested her patience and resilience.
Nevertheless, she remains steadfast in her commitment to
persevere through these hardships.
“Running a business in Nigeria can often feel like an uphill
battle. It’s been a test of patience and resilience. But through it all, I’ve
learned to weather the storm and keep moving forward,” Mercy shared.
She recognized that balancing her roles as a filmmaker and
business owner has been challenging, yet she urged others to remain committed
to their aspirations in the face of difficulties.
“Big shout-out to every business owner in Nigeria right now.
Despite the challenges we’re facing in the country with the economic crisis and
inflation, we keep pushing. I encourage you all not to give up. Before you see
the rainbow, it has to storm,” she added.
Mercy, the owner of the fashion label Mag Divas, has hinted
at an exciting new collection, promising her customers “breathtaking”
additions.
She also urged her followers to maintain their enthusiasm
for her forthcoming film, Thin Line, which is scheduled for release in
December, assuring them it would be a “December to remember.”
