WealthManagement.com, the premier destination for wealth advisors and planners, revealed the recipients of the 2024 WealthManagement.com Industry Awards (commonly referred to as the "Wealthies") last night at a formal awards ceremony held at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. The complete list of winners is available for viewing.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the WealthManagement.com Industry Awards is the sole awards program dedicated to recognizing exceptional accomplishments by companies, organizations, and individuals that contribute to the success of financial advisors. This year, a total of 92 awards were distributed among 84 companies, selected from a competitive field of 287 finalists.

"In 2024, we received a record number of nominations, with over 1,000 submissions from more than 400 companies, including 132 first-time participants," stated David Armstrong, Director of Editorial Strategy and Operations at Wealth Management Group – Informa Connect. "The Industry Awards program has grown significantly in its ten-year history, yet its core mission remains unchanged: to acknowledge and celebrate the remarkable efforts of companies and individuals that enhance the success of financial advisors and improve client outcomes. This year's winners represent a diverse array of firms, all united by their role as innovators behind the programs, tools, and platforms that enable financial advisors to expand their businesses, improve client service, and enhance the financial well-being and quality of life for millions of investors."

The 2024 awards event commenced with senior leaders from finalist companies engaging in daytime panel discussions featuring CEOs and CTOs, followed by technology-focused roundtable conversations and networking opportunities at the Westin Times Square in New York City. The afternoon was further enhanced by The Growth by Inclusion Think Tank, which focused on strategies for recruiting, mentoring, and empowering talent from underrepresented groups, showcasing how participants and their organizations are fostering cultures of inclusion and belonging.

In the evening, the red carpet, cocktail reception, and formal awards ceremony at the Ziegfeld Ballroom attracted over 500 industry executives and team members from prominent asset management firms, registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, custodians, technology providers, and other related companies.

Numerous exceptional companies were honored across various categories, including Apex Fintech Solutions, Cambridge Investment Research, Inc., Envestnet, Jump, MyVest, Nitrogen, Orion, and Summit Wealth Systems. In the newly introduced Technology Providers - Artificial Intelligence category, which debuted in 2022, there were 21 nominations, illustrating the growing influence of AI in enhancing advisors' business success, with CogniCor Technologies Inc. winning the award. Individual accolades were also given to CEOs, CMOs, CTOs, Innovators, M&A Leaders, and Thought Leaders. A comprehensive list of the 2024 Industry Awards finalists, winners, and their initiatives is available in a special digital edition of WealthManagement.com Best-of-the-Best.

Winners were chosen based on a combination of quantitative metrics related to their initiatives, such as scope, scale, adoption, and feature set, as well as qualitative factors including innovation, creativity, and novel delivery methods. In 2024, the awards program was broadened to honor organizations that are leading the way in innovative platforms for Philanthropy and RIA Client Initiatives. Additionally, individual awards continued to recognize emerging talents within RIA firms. A list of the 2024 RIA Rising Star Honorees is available.

At the Gala event, Mark Tibergien, a seasoned executive, consultant, prolific writer, thought leader, and author, was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his invaluable wisdom, principles, and guidance that have significantly shaped the industry. "We are incredibly excited to honor Mark during our 10th anniversary celebration," stated David Armstrong, Executive Director of Content and User Engagement for WealthManagement.com. "Mark has played a pivotal role in defining this industry and charting its future. His impact on how registered investment advisors approach their work is profound, influencing the very foundations of the business. No one articulates the intricacies and subtleties of this segment of financial services as effectively as he does."

A panel of independent judges, comprised of leading figures in the industry and chaired by David Armstrong, selected the winners of the WealthManagement.com Industry Awards. These awards annually celebrate the firms and individuals who are introducing innovative solutions that significantly enhance the daily operations of financial advisors.
