Dr. Philip Mshelbila, NLNG's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, introduced the new trade name—NLNG—along with a new identity and purpose statement: "Providing Energy to Improve Lives Sustainably," and a refreshed tagline, "Inspiring a Sustainable Future."
In his address, Dr. Mshelbila underscored the importance of this transformation, describing it as a crucial milestone in the company’s evolution. “We are not merely commemorating our past successes and history, but we are also embarking on a new chapter—one that is set to redefine our future and our influence on the world,” he stated.
The new logo of NLNG reflects a dynamic and forward-looking identity, signifying the company’s commitment to purposeful leadership while prioritizing sustainability. Dr. Mshelbila stressed that the rebranding signifies NLNG’s ambition to be more than just an energy supplier.

During the Grand Award Night, the company celebrated its 35th anniversary of incorporation, 25 years of operational excellence, and 20 years of The Nigeria Prize for Science and The Nigeria Prize for Literature.
