The much-anticipated watch party for Mercy Aigbe’s new film, “Thin Line,” turned out to be a huge hit in Ilorin. 

Taking place on Friday, December 27, at Viva Cinema, the event drew a fantastic crowd, including notable figures like Kwara State’s Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Forestry, Nafisat Buge; the Governor’s Special Assistant on Media, Olayinka Fafoluyi (Solace); Dr. Azeez Adigun, Managing Director of Jibzit Properties Limited; Baba Kamo, Managing Director of Xtra Plate Exquisite Eateries; and the head of Kalty Catering Services. 

Organized by TMJ, the night was filled with fun red-carpet activities, including a best-dressed contest, movie reviews, and an after-party that kept the energy high. Guests came dressed to impress, ready for an unforgettable evening. 

Opeyemi Ashipa, the brains behind the event, is known for his influence in the entertainment scene and his passion for quality events. He shared his thoughts on the watch party, saying, “After seeing the trailer for ‘Thin Line,’ I knew I had to host this event. Movies like this deserve the spotlight. I have faith in Mercy Aigbe’s brand and wanted to make this happen.” 

Honourable Nafisat Buge praised the film, calling it a masterpiece and adding, “It was truly a beautiful experience. I took away many important lessons from it and urge everyone who hasn’t seen it yet to check it out.”
