Controversial Nigerian artist, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has vowed to change his ways after being released on bail.

The Zazu hitmaker was granted bail of N2 million by an Ogun State Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta, on Thursday after he pleaded not guilty to five charges, which include conspiracy, assault, weapon possession, and disorderly conduct.

Portable faced charges from the Ogun State police for allegedly attacking three officials from the Ogun Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA).

In a video posted on social media following his release, the singer expressed his thanks and shared his goal of prioritizing financial success over any more drama.

“My fans, thank God for everything. If you have God, you have everything,” he said. “I need money. I am not looking for trouble anymore. I’m now focused on making money. I have N2 million bail debt. I need more money. I am looking for money.”
