The play-offs for this year's UEFA Champions League concluded last night, with the ever-dominant Real Madrid overcoming English powerhouse Manchester City with a 6-3 aggregate score.

After losing the first leg 3-2 a week prior, Manchester City faced a challenging task to reverse the outcome at the Santiago Bernabeu.

However, a remarkable hat trick from French striker Kylian Mbappe sealed their fate, resulting in a 3-1 defeat against Carlo Ancelotti's squad.

In another match that evening, Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven triumphed over Juventus to secure a place in the last 16. Additionally, PSG achieved victory against fellow French team Brest, advancing to the next stage of Europe's premier competition.

Champions League play-off matches were also held on Tuesday.
