Grammy-winning superstar Burna Boy has added another accolade to his impressive collection, earning a platinum SNEP certification for his 2019 collaboration with French hitmaker Dadju, Donne-Moi L’accord.

The song has enjoyed significant commercial success, particularly in digital streams, surpassing 50 million plays on Spotify. This latest certification adds to Burna Boy’s growing list of achievements in 2025, which also includes an RIAA gold certification for his track Alone, featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack album.

A Standout Track

Alone, which features guest appearances from Nigerian stars Rema and Fireboy, was nominated for Best Global Song Performance at the 2023 Grammys. With 164 million Spotify streams, it is the second most-streamed song on the Wakanda Forever album, trailing only Rihanna’s Lift Me Up.

This marks Burna Boy’s sixth RIAA certification and his fourth solo plaque, further cementing his status as one of Africa’s leading global music icons.

Looking Ahead to 2025

The 10-time Grammy nominee is gearing up for a busy year, with the highly anticipated release of his eighth studio album, *No Sign of Weakness*. The album has already been preceded by three singles: *Higher*, which earned a nomination for Best African Song Performance at the 67th Grammys; *Bundle By Bundle*, released in December 2024; and *Update*, which dropped in February 2025.

Making History

Burna Boy recently made history as the first artist to grace the cover of *Billboard France Magazine*. In his interview, the multi-award-winning star discussed the global rise of Nigerian music and his pivotal role in its success.

With his upcoming album, Burna Boy aims to continue his remarkable commercial streak, which has seen his last four albums earn Grammy nominations. He is also the first Nigerian artist to have three albums surpass 500 million streams on Spotify.
