Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the esteemed senior pastor of Trinity House, has publicly responded to rumors suggesting he is set to marry Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw. Speculation about the clergyman’s remarriage has been rife on social media, with some even claiming that traditional wedding attire (Aso Ebi) is already being prepared for the alleged ceremony.

In a recent interview with media personality Osayuwamen Saleh on UpgradeTV, which gained traction on Sunday, Pastor Ituah firmly denied the rumors. With a touch of humor, he dismissed the claims, stating that he has no knowledge of such plans. He suggested that those spreading the news might be profiting from the buzz.

“I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds,” he said. “About an Aso Ebi coming out, well, not to the best of my knowledge. The problem with social media is that people feel they can do whatever they want. Whoever is spreading this rumor is making money from it. When they are done, they should come and pay tithe.”

While Pastor Ituah did not entirely rule out the possibility of remarriage in the future, he emphasized that the spirit of his late wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo, remains deeply cherished in his heart. The couple, who were married for years, shared a profound bond before her untimely passing in June 2020. Ibidunni, a former beauty queen and accomplished event planner, left behind a legacy that Pastor Ituah continues to honor.

Since her death, Pastor Ituah has dedicated himself to raising their two adopted children and focusing on his ministry. In a 2023 interview, he revealed that while he is open to remarriage someday, he is in no hurry. His primary focus remains his children, who are his top priority. He also shared that his daughter has strongly advised him against remarrying.

“It is not possible to say I would never remarry, but if I had my way, I am okay. I am happy, and my life is not complicated,” he explained. “I am looking after my children, and I am doing well. I might consider it when my children are older. My daughter has also warned me not to remarry!”

Pastor Ituah’s candid remarks highlight his commitment to his family and ministry, while also addressing the persistent rumors with grace and humor. For now, his focus remains on honoring the memory of his late wife and providing a stable, loving environment for his children.
