Ralph Mupita's Proven Track Record
Mupita brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has served as the Group President and CEO of MTN Group since September 2020, guiding the company through a period of significant growth and strategic development. Prior to his current position, he served as MTN Group's Chief Financial Officer from April 2017.
During his tenure at MTN, Mupita has been instrumental in strengthening the company's financial position and strategic planning. Notably, he oversaw the successful listing of MTN subsidiaries in key African markets, including Ghana, Nigeria, Rwanda, and Uganda, demonstrating his expertise in navigating complex regulatory and financial landscapes.
Before joining MTN, Mupita served as the CEO of Old Mutual Emerging Markets, where he oversaw financial services operations across 19 countries in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
