Their confrontation centered on one of the most controversial moments from the show: Chinwe’s admitted sexual relationship with her then-boyfriend, Zion, during their time in the Big Brother house. While Chinwe and Zion had been open about being intimate on multiple occasions, Chinne tried to use the incident to taunt her during the reunion episode.
What began as a verbal spar quickly escalated into a no-holds-barred argument. When Chinne tried to mock her for having sex on national television, Chinwe refused to back down or show remorse, instead dismissing the criticism outright.
“We are not on the same level. You are a villager in every sense of the word. You act like they just brought you out from a zoo, like they just let you loose and you move mad,” Chinwe snapped at her rival, drawing gasps from fellow housemates.
Chinne fired back sharply, saying, “Chinwe, is that why you went on national television to have sex? You are a fool. Get out!”
Chinwe, however, appeared unbothered by the attempted shaming. “You want to shame me for having sex? Okay, 35-year-old virgin. Congratulations,” she retorted, prompting Chinne to correct her by saying she was neither a virgin nor 35 years old.
The argument continued with both women trading biting insults. Chinwe even accused Chinne of being hypocritical, asking why she would try to shame her over sex while not being a virgin herself. “This woman is on drugs,” she said in exasperation.
Chinne, not willing to let it drop, tried to redirect the attack to Chinwe’s relationship with Zion, saying, “Chinwe, I’m not your problem. Your problem is that toy that you came into the house with.”
But Chinwe dismissed that angle too, claiming she had already moved past any issues with Zion. “Zion is not my problem. I have addressed Zion and I’ve moved past it. Go and reconcile with your niece,” she concluded, ending the fiery back-and-forth on a personal note.
The exchange was one of the reunion’s most talked-about moments, laying bare the lingering animosities between the two former housemates and offering viewers the drama and raw emotion that have become hallmarks of Big Brother Naija’s reunion specials.
