Samer Chedid, formerly CEO of Nestlé Indonesia, has been appointed as the new CEO of Nestlé Central and West Africa (CWAR). He takes over from Mauricio Alarcón, who has transitioned to a new position within the Nestlé group.

Mr. Chedid brings a wealth of diverse experience across Nestlé's operations in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. He is well-acquainted with the CWAR region, having previously served as Country Manager for Nestlé Ghana. In his new capacity, he will be responsible for leading Nestlé's business across 25 countries in the CWAR region.

Chedid began his career at Nestlé in 1998 as Sales Development Manager and has since held multiple leadership roles across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. His track record includes positions as:

  • Head of Channel Category Sales Development, Nestlé Middle East
  • General Business Manager, Bahrain, Qatar, and Dubai
  • Country Manager, Nestlé Ghana
  • Sales Director, Nestlé Middle East Region
  • Country Manager, Nestlé Saudi Arabia
  • CEO, Nestlé Pakistan
  • Most recently, CEO, Nestlé Indonesia
