Oracle and Alphabet announced on Thursday a strategic partnership that will allow Oracle’s cloud computing customers to access Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence models. The collaboration enables businesses and software developers to integrate Google’s AI capabilities directly into Oracle’s cloud services and enterprise applications.

The agreement, following a similar deal Oracle made with Elon Musk’s xAI in June, allows users to leverage Google’s models to generate text, video, images, and audio while operating within Oracle’s cloud infrastructure. In addition, businesses that rely on Oracle’s applications for corporate finance, human resources, and supply chain management will be able to deploy Google’s AI models seamlessly within those platforms.

Oracle customers will pay for the Google AI tools using their existing Oracle cloud credits, providing a unified billing system. The companies did not disclose whether any payments would be exchanged between Oracle and Google as part of the partnership.

For Oracle, the move reflects a broader strategy of offering a diverse portfolio of AI options to its clients rather than exclusively promoting its own technology. For Google, the partnership represents a step toward broadening the adoption of its cloud services and attracting corporate customers in competition with rivals such as Microsoft.

The collaboration is expected to accelerate AI integration in enterprise workflows, offering businesses more flexibility and innovation options while reinforcing both companies’ positions in the rapidly evolving cloud and AI markets.
