Actress and reality TV star Bamike “Bambam” Adenibuyan has advised couples to refrain from physical intimacy until they are certain about marriage, stressing that the decision can strengthen the foundation of long-term relationships.

Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, Bambam cautioned that sex can complicate relationships before commitment is established.

“I would advise anybody dating, if you can keep sex out of the mix till you’re sure of getting married, just do it,” she said.

Marriage Journey with Teddy A

Bambam also opened up about her marriage to fellow Big Brother Naija alumnus Tope “Teddy A” Adenibuyan, revealing that the couple once struggled with doubts about their compatibility.

“I began to evolve as a woman, and he too was discovering himself. Our differences started to clash, there were many times we questioned why we were together. We felt like the foundation wasn’t right. But I held on to God and His promises for my marriage,” she explained.

The actress, who shares two children with Teddy A, said that faith and spiritual growth played a vital role in sustaining their union.

“My greatest joy through the journey has been him having a personal relationship with God. That has been the sweetener,” she added.

Acting Without Kissing Scenes

On her career, Bambam noted that she intentionally avoids kissing scenes in films, preferring instead to focus on body language and dialogue to create authentic on-screen chemistry. She argued that convincing portrayals of relationships do not always require physical intimacy.

Since rising to fame on Big Brother Naija, Bambam has built a career as an actress and entrepreneur, while maintaining a public profile alongside her husband Teddy A. Their marriage, which began in 2019, has often been spotlighted as one of the most enduring unions to emerge from the reality show.
