Ecobank Nigeria, a subsidiary of the leading pan-African banking group, has announced the launch of its Super Rewards campaign to mark the Group’s 40th anniversary. More than ₦60 million in cash and lifestyle rewards have been earmarked for customers as part of the celebration. The campaign will run nationwide from September 2025 through January 2026.

Over the five-month period, 914 customers will share in ₦61.2 million in cash prizes, alongside scholarships, business funding, and other lifestyle-enhancing benefits.

Speaking at the launch event in Lagos, Victor Yalokwu, Head of Products & Analytics, Consumer & Commercial Banking at Ecobank Nigeria, said the initiative is both a celebration of the Group’s four decades of service in Africa and an expression of appreciation to customers.

“This year’s campaign is a special celebration of Ecobank Group’s 40 years of operations across Africa. We are showing appreciation to our customers by rewarding their loyalty, even as we continue to deliver first-class banking services. The campaign is open to new and existing customers—individuals, businesses (including SMEs and schools), and students nationwide, including those reactivating dormant accounts,” Yalokwu stated.

Rewards Breakdown

  • Individual Accounts: 420 customers will win ₦16.8 million in monthly draws, while 8 winners will share ₦8 million in the grand finale.
  • Business Accounts: 420 business customers will receive ₦16.8 million in monthly draws, while 4 businesses will share ₦16 million in grand prizes.
  • Student Accounts: 50 students will receive ₦40,000 each in monthly draws (₦2 million total). Four students will also receive education grants of ₦400,000 each (₦1.6 million total) at the grand finale.

How to Qualify

  • Individuals: Open an account with at least ₦10,000 and maintain it for 30 days to qualify for monthly draws. For grand prizes, maintain a minimum deposit of ₦40,000 for three consecutive months.
  • Businesses: Open with a minimum of ₦40,000, with grand prize qualification requiring deposit growth of at least ₦400,000.
  • Transactions: All participants must transact through Ecobank’s digital channels—Mobile app, USSD (*326#), Business app, OMNIPLUS, Internet Banking, or debit cards. Monthly eligibility requires a minimum of four transactions; grand prize eligibility requires twelve. Each additional ₦10,000 (individual) or ₦40,000 (business) deposit increases chances of winning.
