As the festive season approaches, DStv is rolling out a dedicated holiday pop-up channel to bring Nigerians closer to some of the country’s most celebrated end-of-year events. Available on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 49, the seasonal channel promises a mix of high-energy entertainment, faith-based programming, and family-friendly content, running from Thursday, 20 November 2025, to Saturday, 3 January 2026.

The festivities kick off with Joyful Noise on November 21 at 7 PM, setting the tone for a season of music and celebration. Families will also enjoy an inspiring dose of education and entertainment with the MTN mPulse Spelling Bee Grand Finale on November 23 at 11 AM, highlighting young talents in the country.

December promises even bigger spectacles. On Friday, December 5 at 8 PM, viewers can tune in to the 20th edition of The Experience, Africa’s largest gospel music and worship concert. The event brings its signature night of music, praise, and worship to millions of screens nationwide.

Faith-based celebrations continue with Unusual Praise on December 12 at 7 PM and the Akwa Ibom Christmas Carol on December 19 at 7 PM, offering uplifting performances, choir renditions, and cultural showcases from across Nigeria.

The festive programming concludes with the Carnival Calabar, airing daily from December 23 to 30, capturing the vibrancy, colour, and creativity of Africa’s largest street festival. Viewers can expect a spectacular cultural parade, lively performances, and a festival atmosphere brought straight to their screens.
