Both Tyler and Rosé were honoured at Variety’s 2025 Hitmakers event in December, a recognition that now carries added weight as they head into the Grammys with major nominations. Tyler, a Grammy winner and longtime creative disruptor, was named Variety’s Hitmakers Innovator of the Decade. This year, he is nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for Chromakopia, Best Alternative Music Album for Don’t Tap the Glass, Best Rap Performance for “Darling, I”, Best Rap Song for “Sticky”, and Best Rap Album, again for Chromakopia.
Rosé arrives at the Grammys as a first-time nominee but with formidable momentum. Named Variety’s Global Hitmaker of the Year, she has earned three nominations, all tied to her chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars, “APT.” The single is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Their announcement adds to an eclectic and genre-spanning list of previously confirmed performers. Those already set to appear include Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Clipse and Pharrell Williams, Post Malone, Reba McEntire, Katseye, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, Addison Rae, The Marías and Alex Warren.
The ceremony will also feature several tribute moments. Reba McEntire, Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson will perform during the In Memoriam segment, while Ms. Lauryn Hill is scheduled to appear in a special performance honouring D’Angelo and Roberta Flack. A tribute to Ozzy Osbourne will bring together Post Malone alongside Watt, Slash, Duff McKagan and Chad Smith.
Beyond performances, the show will feature appearances from notable presenters. Harry Styles and Doechii have been confirmed, with more performers and presenters expected to be announced in the days leading up to the ceremony.
The 68th Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Trevor Noah returns as host for the sixth consecutive year, marking his final time emceeing the event. Ahead of the main broadcast, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will take place at the Peacock Theater, streaming live at 12:30 p.m. PT on live.Grammy.com.
Looking ahead, the Recording Academy has confirmed that the 2026 Grammy Awards will be produced by Fulwell Entertainment. Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins and Trevor Noah will serve as executive producers, continuing the production team’s involvement into the next Grammy cycle.
With its rapidly expanding line-up, tribute-heavy programming and a final hosting turn from Noah, this year’s ceremony is shaping up to be one of the most eventful Grammy nights in recent memory.
