Former Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong is set to complete a move to Al Ahli Sports Club in Qatar, leaving Saudi Arabian side Al Kholood for the new challenge.

The 32-year-old centre-back brings significant experience from Europe’s top leagues and has been a cornerstone of Nigeria’s national team, featuring prominently in multiple Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.

Troost-Ekong has reportedly agreed to a contract that will keep him at Al Ahli until June 2028, marking a long-term commitment to the Qatari club.
