The twin exhibitions underscored LG’s commitment to inclusiveness and localisation, presenting the same suite of AI-driven technologies across different markets to address real-world consumer and business needs.
AI-Powered Home Appliances Take Centre Stage
At InnoFest 2026, LG unveiled its expanding smart ecosystem for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, featuring interconnected appliances, air solutions, and smart home technologies designed to deliver convenience, energy efficiency, and personalised user experiences.
A highlight of the showcase was LG’s advanced residential laundry lineup, featuring AI Wash and AI Dry technologies that detect fabric types and load sizes to optimise washing and drying performance while conserving energy. The premium 29-inch LG SIGNATURE Wash Combo, boasting the world’s largest capacity, led the range. LG also expanded its WashTower lineup with 24-, 25-, and 27-inch models, offering flexible installation options suited for modern homes.
In the kitchen category, LG introduced the ‘Fit & Max’ concept, blending built-in aesthetics with intelligent functionality. The LG InstaView French door refrigerator showcased zero-clearance hinges for seamless integration and AI Fresh technology to automatically regulate cooling based on usage patterns, reinforcing LG’s leadership in the MEA refrigerator market.
Bringing Innovation to Nigerian Consumers
Following Abu Dhabi, LG brought its AI-powered solutions to Mega HORECA 2026 in Nigeria, allowing hospitality operators, business partners, and consumers hands-on access to intelligent appliances. Attendees explored smart refrigerators, AI-enabled laundry units, advanced cooking solutions, and energy-efficient air-conditioning systems designed for both commercial and residential settings.
A standout from the Eco Solutions range was LG’s flagship dehumidifier, capable of operating quietly for up to 23 hours while reducing mould and mildew, reflecting the company’s focus on health, comfort, and indoor air quality.
Regional Leadership and Vision
Mr Hyoung Sub Ji, President of LG West Africa, emphasised the company’s dedication to locally optimised smart solutions. “LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimised solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa. Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region,” he said.
Through its participation in InnoFest 2026 and Mega HORECA 2026, LG reinforced its vision of making advanced smart living technologies globally competitive while ensuring they remain accessible, relevant, and practical for local markets throughout the MEA region.
