MediaConsortium has announced that the 2026 edition of its CSR Impact and Excellence Conference will take place on April 17, 2026, at the Lagos Chambers of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Alausa, Ikeja. The event is scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m.

The conference, now in its second edition, will be held under the theme: “Beyond Profit: Redefining Success Through CSR and Sustainability.” Organisers say the theme reflects the growing global shift toward purpose-driven business models that prioritise social value alongside financial performance.

According to MediaConsortium, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability have evolved from optional corporate initiatives into core strategic imperatives for modern organisations. The publication noted that consumers, investors, regulators, and host communities increasingly expect businesses to demonstrate environmental stewardship, ethical leadership, and measurable social impact.

The 2026 gathering follows the successful maiden edition held in 2025 and is expected to convene industry leaders, sustainability experts, CSR practitioners, brand executives, academics, and members of the media. Discussions will focus on how organisations can embed long-term sustainability, ethical governance, and measurable community impact into their operational frameworks.

In a statement, Godwin Anyebe, Co-Publisher of MediaConsortium, disclosed that a lineup of respected professionals and CSR/sustainability experts will present papers centred on the conference theme. The presentations will subsequently be examined during a panel session aimed at deepening dialogue and driving actionable insights.

Organisers say the conference will serve as a platform for thought leadership and collaboration, reinforcing the message that sustainable impact and responsible governance are becoming defining benchmarks of business success in today’s evolving corporate landscape.
