Abuja is set to become a hub for creative exchange and industry dialogue as the Spadez Artist & Creative Network Summit 2026 brings together artists, entrepreneurs, and media professionals from across Nigeria and beyond.
The two-day summit, organised by Spadez Management & PR Limited with support from British Council Nigeria, will take place on March 29 and 30, 2026. It is designed to promote innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth within Africa’s rapidly evolving creative sector.
With the theme “Creative Influence: Connecting Vision & Voices,” the summit aims to bridge the gap between creative talents and key stakeholders, including brands, investors, and cultural institutions. Organisers say the platform will unlock new opportunities and strengthen linkages within the continent’s expanding creative economy.
The event will feature a mix of panel discussions, keynote addresses, creative showcases, and interactive sessions. Participants are also expected to engage in a curated marketplace experience that highlights emerging talent while encouraging real-time collaboration and business development.
A major highlight of the summit is the Creative Marketplace and dedicated networking spaces, where attendees will have direct access to industry leaders, potential collaborators, and investment partners. These sessions are designed to foster meaningful connections and translate creative ideas into viable business ventures.
According to Obianuju Asika, Founder and Lead Consultant of Spadez Management & PR Limited, the summit is focused on equipping creatives with the tools and exposure needed to thrive on a global stage.“SACNet is about helping Africa’s creatives transform talent into influence, opportunity, and long-term impact. Our goal is to create a platform where creatives and entrepreneurs can build their brands, connect with the right partners, and grow within a structured and evolving creative economy,” she said.
She added that discussions at the summit will cover critical areas shaping the modern creative landscape, including entrepreneurship, storytelling, media visibility, brand positioning, and cross-sector collaboration.
Beyond the 2026 gathering, SACNet is envisioned as a long-term ecosystem, with plans for year-round programming, mentorship initiatives, and community-driven platforms aimed at supporting emerging talents and strengthening Africa’s creative industries.
Industry observers note that initiatives like SACNet could play a vital role in connecting creative talent with economic opportunities, fostering cross-industry partnerships, and contributing to the sustained growth of Nigeria’s creative economy.
