In tributes, the leaders lauded Adeboye’s humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to national development. They highlighted his consistent prayers and intercessions for Nigeria, acknowledging the cleric as a spiritual pillar whose influence extends beyond the church.

A statement from the President and First Lady read: “We celebrate the grace of stewardship and leadership upon the life of Pastor Adeboye as he marks his 84th birthday. We thank God for a life of impact, and we pray for good health and continued strength as he carries on his work in the Lord’s vineyard.”

Governor Sanwo-Olu, through his media aide, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, echoed the sentiment, describing Adeboye as “a true ambassador of God” whose counsel and prayers have contributed significantly to the development and progress of Lagos State. He praised the pastor’s decades of service as the second National President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, noting his role in raising millions of committed followers and advancing the gospel both nationally and internationally.

The governor added: “Daddy GO’, as Pastor Adeboye is popularly called, has been a blessing not just to the Redeemed Christian Church of God but also to Lagos State and the nation. His devoted service has helped place Nigeria on the global map as a land of spiritual exploits and greatness.”

The tributes collectively celebrated Pastor Adeboye’s decades-long ministry, spiritual influence, and legacy of honesty, dedication, and service, while praying for continued health, grace, and strength as he continues his mission of faith and national impact.
