Actress, brand influencer, and entrepreneur Tomike Adeoye has revealed that despite her friendly and approachable demeanor, she draws clear boundaries and does not tolerate being taken for granted.

The media personality shared her insights during an appearance on the “Living Boldly with Queen Martins” podcast, where she spoke candidly about her career journey, personality, and how she manages multiple professional interests.

Adeoye, who studied Microbiology, explained that she refused to confine herself to a single career path, despite societal pressures to specialize.

“In this age and time, people will want to tell you just focus on one thing. I remember when we met on TV, I was that small girl who had just finished studying microbiology. I could have decided to just focus on that, but I knew there was more to me. I love talking, so I always wanted to be on TV and all of that,” she said.

She also addressed misconceptions that arise from her friendly nature, noting that some people mistake her warmth for complacency.

“I don’t like people taking me for granted. There are times I go crazy in the store because I see that they are beginning to relax—‘Are you people okay?’ Literally, in everything I do, as much as I can be friendly and smile a lot, I notice that at times people tend to take that for granted. But the truth is, I am also a no-nonsense person,” Adeoye explained.

Over the years, Adeoye has established herself as a versatile media figure, excelling as a television personality, actress, and digital content creator. Her growing influence is reflected in her strong following across media projects and brand partnerships, highlighting her ability to navigate multiple industries successfully.
