Preliminary data from Luminate shows that Bieber’s songs were streamed 24.6 million times in the United States on April 12, marking a significant jump from 15.9 million the previous day. The figure also represents a 74% increase compared to April 10, the day before his festival set, when streams stood at 14.1 million.
The post-performance boost becomes even more pronounced when compared to the previous week. On April 5, Bieber’s catalog recorded 7.9 million streams, meaning April 12’s total reflects a 211% surge — his strongest streaming day of 2026 so far and his highest since July 2025.
That earlier peak followed the release of his album Swag, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned Grammy recognition.
Among the standout tracks driving the surge was “Yukon,” a track from Swag, which pulled in 1.3 million streams, rising 21% day-over-day. “Daisies,” another song from the same project, matched that figure with a stronger 33% increase.
Older hits also experienced renewed momentum. Beauty and a Beat, featuring Nicki Minaj, led the non-Swag tracks with 1.2 million streams, jumping 76%. Close behind were Baby (featuring Ludacris) with 1.2 million streams, and Sorry, which garnered 871,000 streams.
Beyond streaming, Bieber’s catalog also saw a notable rise in digital sales, with 3,000 downloads recorded on April 12 — nearly triple the previous day’s total.
The surge follows Bieber’s April 11 performance during Coachella’s opening weekend, which generated significant online buzz. Part of the attention stemmed from his creative decision to incorporate old YouTube clips of his earlier work into the set, blending nostalgia with more recent material.
The full impact of the Coachella-driven boost is expected to be reflected in upcoming Billboard charts dated April 25, covering the tracking period of April 10–16.
