Speculation surrounding the marriage of businessman Olakunle Churchill and actress Rosy Meurer has intensified in recent days, following unconfirmed reports that the couple may be heading for a split.
The rumours, which gained traction online earlier this week, alleged that Meurer filed for divorce on April 20, 2026, amid claims of Churchill’s renewed closeness with his ex-wife, Tonto Dikeh. The development was linked by some observers to recent interactions between Churchill and Dikeh, particularly after the 10th birthday celebration of their son, King Andre, earlier this year.
Breaking his silence, Churchill addressed the situation indirectly via his Instagram story on Friday, choosing to emphasise his role as a father rather than respond directly to the divorce claims.
“As a father, if I’m ever in a place where I have to pick between my kids or anyone or anything else, I’m picking my kids. Period,” he wrote.
The controversy follows Churchill’s reunion with Dikeh in January 2026—nearly nine years after their highly publicised separation. At the time, he clarified that their renewed interaction was strictly for co-parenting purposes and not a rekindling of their past relationship. Since then, both have appeared together in photos and videos, fuelling speculation about the nature of their relationship.
Meurer, who married Churchill in 2019, had previously faced criticism during the early stages of their relationship, with some accusing her of being involved in the breakdown of his marriage to Dikeh. She was known to have been close to the former couple prior to their split.
Despite the growing rumours, neither Meurer nor Dikeh has issued an official statement regarding the alleged divorce filing, leaving the situation largely in the realm of speculation.
