The award was presented to ACP Kazeem, who serves as the Officer-in-Charge of the Legal and Gender Section of the Lagos State Police Command, during a visit by FIDA executives to her office in GRA, Ikeja.
FIDA said the honour reflects her consistent dedication to service, particularly her proactive efforts in addressing domestic violence and gender-based violence (GBV) cases across the state. The organisation also commended her firm but compassionate approach to handling sensitive cases involving women and children.
Since assuming her role, ACP Kazeem has been widely recognised for strengthening institutional response mechanisms to GBV and ensuring thorough investigation and prosecution of offenders. Her leadership has also contributed to increased sensitisation campaigns aimed at educating the public and encouraging victims to report abuse.
