Flutterwave and ASIF Expand Youth Enterprise Drive With 2026 Programme Aimed at Scaling Nigerian Businesses

Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, has announced a strategic partnership with Activate Success International Foundation (ASIF) to strengthen youth entrepreneurship, digital financial inclusion, and enterprise development across Nigeria. The collaboration will be delivered through the 2026 edition of the Youth Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Programme (YEEP), a long-running platform for supporting young business owners with training, mentorship, and funding.

Over the last decade, ASIF has positioned YEEP as one of Nigeria’s notable enterprise development initiatives. In 2025 alone, the programme disbursed over ₦50 million in cash and equipment grants to selected young entrepreneurs, while also recording more than 2,000 participants. Its wider youth engagement activities, including outreach during NYSC orientation camps, have reached over 30,000 young Nigerians nationwide.

For the 2026 edition, Flutterwave will serve as Lead Sponsor, integrating its full suite of payment infrastructure into the programme. This includes its Send App remittance platform, merchant solutions, and broader digital financial tools designed to help young entrepreneurs receive payments, manage transactions, and scale operations beyond local markets.

Olugbenga Agboola, Founder and CEO of Flutterwave, said: “Nigeria’s youthful population is its greatest strength. The ambition is already there—what’s needed is access to the right tools to unlock it. For 10 years, Flutterwave has been building the infrastructure that powers opportunity, helping individuals and businesses transact, grow, and scale across borders.”

He added: “Through this partnership with ASIF, we’re deepening that impact by equipping young entrepreneurs with the tools to build sustainable businesses, while platforms like Send App give them the ability to receive payments globally and connect to opportunities beyond their immediate environment.”

Flutterwave’s involvement will also extend beyond the main programme to NYSC orientation camps across Abuja and other states, where thousands of corps members will be introduced to digital payment systems, merchant services, and financial management tools.

On her part, Love Idoko-Uloko, Founder/CEO of Activate Success International Foundation, emphasized the importance of empowerment over dependency. “Young Nigerians do not need to be rescued; they need to be resourced. Our work through YEEP has consistently focused on providing real opportunities like funding, skills, and access. Partnering with Flutterwave strengthens this mission and expands the impact for every entrepreneur we support.”

YEEP 2026 is scheduled to hold on June 18, 2026, in Abuja. Organisers say the programme will further deepen Nigeria’s push toward financial inclusion by expanding access to digital financial infrastructure and improving participation in the formal economy, particularly among young people operating in the informal sector.

Beyond the event, both Flutterwave and ASIF say they will explore additional enterprise support pathways to help beneficiaries access long-term business development opportunities and sustainable growth.
