Suspected armed robbers have attacked the residence of Nigerian music duo, the Adegbodu Twins, just days after the burial of one half of the pair, Taiwo Adegbodu.

The incident, which reportedly occurred around 9 p.m. on Tuesday, has left the family shaken and raised fresh concerns about their safety.

Speaking in a video shared online, Kehinde Adegbodu revealed that the attackers carted away valuables including clothes, shoes, mobile phones, and gold items. He added that the robbery took place in his absence, as he was in Osun State when the incident happened.

Kehinde explained that he rushed home after receiving a distress call from his late brother’s wife, who, along with other family members and children, was present during the attack. He described the experience as traumatic, noting that the children were terrified after seeing armed men in the house.

According to him, the robbers appeared to be searching for money believed to have been donated during Taiwo’s burial. He claimed one of the attackers was overheard saying they could not find any cash in the house.

The singer, however, clarified that he no longer had access to such funds, stating that the money raised had already been used for burial expenses and ongoing building projects tied to his late brother.

In an emotional appeal, Kehinde called for understanding and forgiveness from anyone who might be targeting him, while stressing that his family now feels unsafe in their own home.

The attack comes shortly after Taiwo Adegbodu’s death from a reported heart attack on March 1, 2026. He was laid to rest on March 31, marking a difficult period for the family now compounded by the security breach.
