MANSORY Unveils One-Off Zeekr 9X with Scissor Doors at Beijing Auto Show, Blending Luxury SUV Power and Extreme Custom Design.
A highly modified version of Zeekr’s flagship luxury SUV has made its global debut at the ongoing Beijing Auto Show 2026 (Auto China), as German tuning house MANSORY Design & Holding GmbH revealed an exclusive one-off creation based on the Zeekr 9X.
Branded as the “Zeekr 9X by MANSORY,” the vehicle transforms the already ambitious full-size SUV into a more aggressive, design-focused interpretation, combining high-performance engineering with signature aftermarket luxury styling.
Extreme redesign of Zeekr’s flagship SUV
The base Zeekr 9X, introduced by the Geely-owned brand last year, was originally positioned as a direct competitor to ultra-luxury SUVs such as the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, but at a significantly lower price point.
MANSORY’s interpretation pushes the styling further with extensively reworked front and rear bumpers, enlarged aerodynamic elements, and a prominent roof spoiler. The build also introduces a flap-style exhaust system and extensive use of carbon fibre across exterior components, all of which can be customized to customer specification.
One of the most striking additions is the inclusion of rear-hinged doors—often referred to in the industry as “suicide doors”—a design feature typically associated with ultra-luxury marques.
Luxury-focused interior overhaul
Inside, the custom SUV continues the theme of heightened exclusivity. The cabin features electrically adjustable seats, a built-in refrigerator integrated into the center console, and a bespoke MANSORY steering wheel. Illuminated branding is embedded into all four door panels, while customized floor mats complete the interior transformation.
The design direction underscores MANSORY’s emphasis on turning high-end production vehicles into bespoke luxury statements, often with dramatic visual modifications.
Performance remains unchanged but extreme
Despite the extensive cosmetic and interior upgrades, the powertrain remains the same as the standard hybrid system found in the Zeekr 9X. The SUV produces a combined output of 1,381 horsepower and 1,410 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 3.1 seconds.
Top speed is electronically limited to 240 km/h, placing it firmly within the high-performance luxury SUV segment.
A showcase of branding ambition
According to MANSORY founder Kourosh Mansory, the Zeekr 9X platform represents a strategic opportunity for expanding the company’s bespoke design portfolio. The collaboration reflects a growing trend in which Western tuning firms are increasingly engaging with emerging Chinese luxury automotive brands.
The debut at Auto China 2026 highlights both the rising global visibility of Zeekr’s flagship model and the continued appetite for highly personalized, ultra-luxury vehicle conversions in the premium SUV market.
