In third place, Sony’s Project Hail Mary brought in $1.1 million during its sixth week, reaching a total of $43.1 million. Entertainment Film Distributors’ The Drama followed in fourth position, earning $682,000 and lifting its cumulative gross to $12.4 million.
Rounding out the top five, Warner Bros.’ The Mummy added $485,000 in its second weekend, bringing its total earnings to $2.4 million.
Further down the chart, The Magic Faraway Tree claimed sixth place with $459,000, raising its overall total to $18.7 million.
Among new releases, Rose of Nevada debuted in seventh with $232,000, followed by Exit 8 in eighth place with $190,000. A 4K reissue of Fight Club opened in ninth, taking in $133,000.
Completing the top 10, The Magic Flute – ROH, London 2026 (Opera) earned $118,000 in its opening weekend, bringing its cumulative total to $596,000.
Looking ahead, Disney’s The Devil Wears Prada 2 is expected to headline the next box office frame as the primary studio release. Other titles set to enter cinemas include the horror film Hokum starring Adam Scott, and the anime feature That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Tears of the Azure Sea from Sony.
