Nigerian social media personality Priscilla Ojo has responded to criticism over her decision to keep her son’s face off social media, insisting that the choice remains entirely hers as a parent.
Speaking during a livestream with TikToker Jarvis, Priscilla addressed the backlash directly, stating that she is unbothered by public opinion and has no plans to change her stance due to online pressure.
The daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo emphasized that parents have the right to determine how much of their children’s lives are shared publicly, particularly in an era where social media exposure can have lasting implications.
She maintained that her son’s privacy is a priority and that she will only reveal his face when she feels the time is right.
“If they like, they should drag me for hiding my son’s face. I will hide his face. He’s my son. When I’m ready, or when I feel like it’s okay, I will reveal his face,” she said.
Priscilla’s remarks highlight a growing conversation among public figures about balancing personal boundaries with public visibility, especially when it involves children raised in the spotlight.
