Award-winning R&B star Chris Brown has officially unveiled the tracklist for his forthcoming album, BROWN, set for release on Friday, May 8, 2026.

The 27-track project, whose title stands for “Break Rules Only When Necessary,” arrives as one of the singer’s most ambitious and feature-heavy releases to date. The album boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators spanning R&B, dancehall, and hip-hop, including Vybz Kartel, Sexyy Red, Leon Thomas, Bryson Tiller, Fridayy, GloRilla, Lucky Daye, Tank, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again.

The rollout for the album has already generated strong reactions online following the release of two singles. Brown first dropped the upbeat track Obvious in April before following it up with Fallin' featuring Leon Thomas on May 1, 2026.

Beyond the album release, Brown is also preparing for a major North American tour alongside fellow R&B star Usher. The joint concert series, titled The R&B Tour, is scheduled to begin on June 26 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver.

The 33-date tour will travel through major cities including Detroit, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles before concluding in Tampa on December 11, 2026. The announcement has further heightened anticipation around Brown’s latest musical era, especially given the commercial success of his recent projects.

The upcoming album follows the success of 11:11, whose deluxe edition earned Brown the Grammy Award for Best R&B Album in 2025. The recognition marked another milestone in a career that has now stretched across two decades.

Since debuting with his self-titled album Chris Brown in 2005, the singer has built one of modern R&B’s most extensive catalogues. His discography includes acclaimed projects such as Exclusive, Graffiti, F.A.M.E., Fortune, X, Royalty, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, Indigo, and Breezy.

With BROWN set to become his 12th studio album, Brown continues to reinforce his staying power within contemporary R&B and mainstream pop culture.
