Ferdinand, who spoke on his Rio Ferdinand Presents YouTube channel, also applauded the style of football currently being played by the French champions, insisting PSG have become the most entertaining side to watch globally.
According to the ex-England international, Enrique has transformed the Paris-based club into a dominant and exciting team capable of competing with any side in Europe.
“PSG are the best team on the planet to watch, and their manager is the best right now at this point,” Ferdinand stated.
The former centre-back’s comments come amid growing admiration for Luis Enrique’s tactical approach, fluid attacking system, and the consistency PSG have displayed in recent months. Since taking charge, the Spanish tactician has been credited with building a more balanced and disciplined squad while still maintaining the club’s attacking identity.
Ferdinand also turned his attention to the Premier League title race, where he expressed strong confidence in Arsenal’s chances under manager Mikel Arteta.
Despite intense competition at the top of the table, Ferdinand believes the Gunners have what it takes to finally end their long wait for another league crown.
“I said Arsenal would win the league this year, and I think Arsenal will win the league,” he added.
Arteta’s side have continued to impress with their youthful energy, tactical discipline, and consistency against top opposition, fueling belief among supporters that Arsenal could secure their first Premier League title since 2004.
Ferdinand’s remarks are likely to spark debate among football fans, especially regarding his claim that PSG are currently the most exciting team in world football and Enrique the standout manager ahead of other elite coaches across Europe.
