The ceremony, held on March 28, 2026, at the MUSON Centre, brought together senior government officials, multinational executives, and leading figures from Africa’s marketing and advertising ecosystem in a gathering widely regarded as one of the continent’s most influential recognition platforms for brand and business excellence.
Organised by the Advertisers Association of Nigeria, commonly known as ADVAN, the awards celebrate individuals and organisations that demonstrate outstanding performance in marketing innovation, brand development, and business leadership. ADVAN represents more than 200 organisations and over 600 brands across Nigeria, accounting for a significant share of the country’s advertising and marketing expenditure, and is affiliated with the World Federation of Advertisers.
The award category won by Osingunwa is reserved for leaders who have delivered measurable impact in business growth, strategic direction, and organisational transformation. His selection, according to organisers, reflects a track record of sustained leadership influence within Nigeria’s competitive manufacturing and consumer goods environment.
Since taking the helm at Mouka, Osingunwa has been credited with strengthening the company’s commercial structure, reinforcing its market leadership, and embedding a performance-driven culture across the organisation. Industry observers note that his approach blends operational discipline with people-centred leadership, helping the company maintain relevance in a fast-evolving consumer market.
In his acceptance remarks, Osingunwa expressed appreciation for the recognition while emphasising collective effort within the organisation. He said:
“I am deeply honoured to receive this award from ADVAN. This recognition is not just personal; it reflects the collective effort of the entire Mouka team and our unwavering commitment to excellence. At Mouka, we believe that sustainable growth comes from delivering value to our consumers, empowering our people, and continuously innovating to meet evolving needs.”
Supporting the recognition, Mouka’s Head of Human Resources and Administration, Mrs. Ifeoma Okoruen, noted that the award underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to leadership development and value creation. She added that Osingunwa’s achievement further reinforces Mouka’s reputation not only for product quality but also for strong organisational governance and people-focused leadership.
The ADVAN Awards remain a key platform for highlighting organisations and executives who are shaping the future of marketing and brand building across Africa, with a focus on innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable business practices.
With over six decades of operation, Mouka Limited continues to maintain its position as Nigeria’s leading manufacturer of mattresses, pillows, and sleep solutions, operating as part of the Dolidol International Group and focusing on innovation-driven growth in the sleep and wellness sector.
